What We Collect

There are no logins, contact forms, newsletters or accounts on this website, so we do not ask you for any personal information.

Our website software keeps a simple activity log recording which pages are visited and when. It does not record IP addresses or any other information that identifies you, and it is deleted after 14 days.

Server Logs

Like all websites, this site runs on a hosting provider's servers. The provider keeps standard server logs, which include visitors' IP addresses, browser type and the time of each request, to operate the site and keep it secure. The provider does this on our behalf, and we rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure website. These logs are not used to identify or profile visitors.

Cookies and Tracking

We do not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising or any tracking services.

Third-Party Content and Links

The LinkedIn icons in our page header are loaded from Flaticon (cdn-icons-png.flaticon.com), so your browser's request for them is visible to that provider. Our website also links to other websites, such as LinkedIn and the North East Regional Defence and Security Cluster. When you follow a link, that website's own privacy policy applies.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. To make a request, email tom@mql.technology.
